I feel as though I've just walked into a tremendous darkened warehouse. Fumbling for the light switch I'm anxious for some sound just to break the eerie quiet. Silently, Rebekah slides up behind me and says in a husky voice, "That's no space station..." Accustomed as I am to her quoting of random movie lines I politely respond, "Yes sweetheart, that's right, it's not a space station. It's a tremendous darkened warehouse, which metaphorically represents our new blog." "Yes, it's our density," she says, "I mean, our destiny."
And so, due to popular demand, we are now launching ourselves full throttle onto the internet superhighway. Please don't boo us off the stage.

Sometimes life in Yugoslavia just isn't the slice of cherry pie that Hollywood paints it to be. Just ask Rebekah Neuner. What with the "annoying" bread lines, generally "oppressive" background music, and constant threat "of" attack from Arctic Wolves, Rebekah learned early on not to take the simple pleasures of life for granted. As one who lived without electricity for the first thirty two years of her life, Rebekah has always felt a natural affinity for wild creatures, particularly the native Yugoslavian Yak which provided her with bounteous stores of frothy milk, body lotion, and trendy fur hats during the dark northern winters. Since her arrival in America as a stowaway aboard a cargo ship several years ago, Rebekah has been steadily progressing in her knowledge of the English language, though she still has difficulty pronouncing geographically related words such as archipelago, isthmus, and fjord.

On Saturday, Eve ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon. She should be turning into a beautiful butterfly any day now.
